A Very Special Gift

In Crafting, General on February 23, 2014 at 12:49 pm

I would love to give my Hubby a Harley Trike – or a Traley Hike as we call it, but I just couldn’t afford it for our anniversary (maybe one day).

So instead, I got creative! I created an A2 size canvas with fine-liners and alcohol markers! I wore out my poor lightbox in the process though đŸ˜¦ but it was great to get back to marker art after a lot of digital artistry!

I’m happy to do commissions of all sizes, so simply give me a call on 01905 21074 or email me on

Mixed Media Memories

Mixed Media Wedding Canvas

Mixed Media Wedding Canvas

It’s been a while since I last posted a craft project so I thought I should catch up a bit. This canvas is a celebration of our wedding produced for our anniversary. It features so many things associated with the day and our relationship – its great because a lot of the little hints are secret to us and makes it all the more special!

My next project will be a much bigger box frame that will be LED lit! It will have all our larger wedding mementos such as butterflies from our stationery and table decor, and will pull in our wedding colours – I promise I’ll blog it as soon as its ready. So if you want something spectacular, drop me a line.

My latest thing

In Crafting, Design, General on October 17, 2013 at 2:41 pm

I’m just getting into altered canvases… I say just,… but I seem to have arranged my whole art room to sort this purpose!
Suddenly, I’m looking at all materials in a whole new light! So, now I’m only short of inspiration…
So set me a challenge and I’ll post the results on here.

Blogging for profit

In Business and Networking, Crafting, Design, General, Technology on October 17, 2013 at 2:28 pm

With more and more people seeking a second income and/or a profitable hobby, the vast majority of us are looking for something new. However, in doing so we may risk overlooking our existing assets.

You may already have an online blog, which may or may not be making a profit currently. If you find yourself running a successful blog with many followers, one route to monetise your blog may be through producing either an eBook or a printed title based on your blog’s content. This is especially true if your blog’s subject is based in either the visual or culinary arts. Indeed your blog may already have effectively written your book for you and with a little creative editing form an holistic book with great content. Plus with a large fan base you will already have a direct route to market your book. The key to success is to make the book worth purchasing – add depth into your subject, tutorials that are currently not available on your site and other information that would take too long to get into on a blog. For printed books, you could include templates, charts and other printed support material as part of your content.

Here at Kissed Off Creations Ltd, we are experienced in turning a plain text document into a visually interesting, informative book in a wide range of formats and platforms. To see samples of our work, visit
